Ordering a server
Choosing a plan, a location and a billing period, and what happens after you pay.
Ordering takes a couple of minutes and the server exists the moment the payment clears. There is no queue and nothing to wait for on our side.
Choosing a plan
Plans are defined by memory, and memory is what decides whether your server runs well. Everything else — disk, CPU share, backup slots — scales with it.
As a rough guide: a few friends on vanilla Minecraft are comfortable at 4 GB, a busy community with plugins wants 8–12 GB, and modpacks start at 8 GB. If you are unsure, the server calculator estimates a plan from what you actually intend to run.
You are not locked in. Plans can be changed later without losing your world.
Choosing a location
Pick the location closest to your players — the shorter the distance, the lower the ping. The order page lists what is available along with the processor in each.
Location is chosen when ordering and cannot be changed afterwards from the panel. If you pick wrong, open a ticket rather than ordering a second server.
Billing periods
Longer commitments cost less per month:

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel at any time — see Renewals and cancelling.
Add-ons
A few extras can be added during ordering or later:
- Dedicated IP — your own address instead of a shared one with a port
- Automatic daily backups — scheduled copies on top of your manual ones
- Extra disk space and extra backup slots
- Extra CPU
None of these are required. The base plan is a complete, working server.
Paying
Payment goes through Stripe. Card details never reach us — they are handled entirely by Stripe, which is also who issues your invoice.
The price shown during ordering is net. VAT is added at checkout according to your country, and business customers with a valid EU VAT number are handled under reverse charge. Details in Invoices and VAT.
After payment
You land on a confirmation page and the server appears under Your services. From there, First steps after ordering walks through starting it.
If the payment succeeded but no server appeared within a few minutes, open a ticket. That normally means the location you chose has no capacity free at that moment — we are notified automatically and will sort it out, but a ticket makes sure nothing is missed.
