Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies game-host.com uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts. Nothing other than strictly necessary cookies is set before you agree.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all — keeping you signed in, remembering your language, protecting the checkout. Others are optional and help us understand how the site is used or measure our advertising.
2. Your choice comes first
When you first visit game-host.com you are asked to decide. Until you do, we load only strictly necessary cookies — no analytics or advertising scripts run, and nothing is sent to Google or Hotjar. Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and refusing costs you nothing: the site works the same either way.
Your decision is stored for six months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time:
3. The three categories
Necessary — required for the site and the client panel to function. These are always on, because without them you could not log in, pay or stay protected against fraud. They do not track you.
Analytics — Google Analytics and Hotjar. They tell us which pages people actually use and where they run into trouble, so we can fix it. Off unless you allow them.
Marketing — Google Ads. Lets us see whether an advert led to a purchase and show relevant ads elsewhere. Off unless you allow them.
4. Every cookie we use
Retention periods are maximums set by the provider; a cookie may be removed sooner. Names ending in an identifier vary per property.

5. Who receives the data
Analytics and advertising cookies involve Google Ireland Limited and Hotjar Ltd. acting as our processors. Where these providers transfer data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for the United States, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Necessary cookies stay between you, us and our payment and security providers.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
Besides our banner, every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the client panel and checkout from working properly. Deleting cookies also removes your stored choice, so we will ask again on your next visit.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a tool, we update this page and the date at the top. When a change affects what we ask for, we ask you to decide again rather than assuming your previous answer still applies.
