FAQ / Questions & Answers

Our plans start at 2 GB, which comfortably covers a convoy for you and a few friends on the base map. Consider more headroom if you run a stack of state DLCs together, layer mods on top, or want the session running permanently for a bigger group. It is one of the lighter titles we host, so most people never need to leave the entry tier.
It runs a private convoy session for your group, so you all share one world instead of relying on one person's PC to host it. Because it is online 24/7, anyone can jump in when they have an hour free and nobody gets disconnected when the host logs off. This is the game's built-in convoy multiplayer and is not tied to any third-party network.
We put no artificial cap on slots — the ceiling is your plan's RAM and CPU plus whatever the game permits. Convoy is built for a small group of friends rather than a large public server, so size your expectations accordingly. The slot number itself is something you set in the server config.
Yes. The server has to be told which mods and DLC the session uses, and the normal method is to generate a server package from your own installed game and upload it via the file manager or FTP. Mods come from the Steam Workshop or straight from their authors. Any time you change your mod or DLC lineup, regenerate that file and upload it again so the session stays in sync.
Effectively yes — everyone in the convoy should own the same map DLC and load the same mods, otherwise joining tends to fail or behave oddly. Agreeing on one setup and sharing a Steam Workshop collection is the least painful way to keep a group aligned. Start with a lean list and expand it once everyone is driving together without issues.
Yes. You get a live console, a file manager and FTP in the panel, so the session name, password, slot count and other settings are yours to edit whenever you want. Manual backups can be taken within the backup slots your plan includes, and you can schedule restarts so the server refreshes itself on your timetable.
You choose your location when ordering: Falkenstein (Germany), Warsaw (Poland), London (UK) or Gravelines (France). Pick the one closest to you — the shorter the distance, the lower your ping.
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Game Swaps are included in every plan: turn the same server into another supported game in one click, and each game keeps its own saved preset so nothing is lost when you swap back. Heavier games need more memory, so which titles you can run depends on the plan you pick — hover the info icon next to Game Swaps on any plan above to see how many that plan can run.
